ORBAT stands for Order of Battle. It's a structured listing of military units and their composition. We use it to provide structure to the community in-game as well as to the staff branches outside game.
The following ORBAT is live, using Discord roles to populate. If there is a mismatch, please inform your 2IC or Comd.
We also have a Google Sheet view, which we use for planning. That can be viewed here but it's not "live" and "to date":
To close with, and destroy the enemy.
Our infantry elements operate both dismounted (through Protected Patrol Vehicles) and mounted (through Armoured Fighting Vehicles). They, whilst being supported by our other elements, are to defeat the enemy through close combat.
They are organised into 8 man "Sections". 3 Sections makes a platoon.
The 5 RANGER loadout is a mix between an Assault Order and a Patrol Order and consists of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as helmet and body armour, weapons, ammunition etc and other combat related equipment.
The Standard CEFO rifleman loadout in 5 RANGER weighs in at 24.97kg. All personnel should use this as a baseline for their equipment, although loadouts vary according to role. Personnel may choose to modify their loadouts within the confines of the set 5 RANGER inventory / Arsenal.
The Maximum weight will be listed on the table for each role. It is the responsibility of the sub-unit commander to ensure that no person under their command weighs more than 35 kg. This is achieved by distributing equipment around the sub-unit - a case in point being machinegun ammunition. But also anti-tank weaponry, DMR ammunition, wire cutters, Flash grenades etc. Dispensation to carry more than 35 kg is to be sought from Coy HQ.

ELS and FST are the exception to this rule due to the weight of their specialised equipment and munitions. Both of these roles are not to weigh more than 50kg.
